Final Fantasy IX walkthrough - Part 45: Chocobo's Paradise In this part of the walkthrough I obtain the remaining treasures from the chocographs which are: Outer Island: 21 Amethysts,16 Garnets,1 Genji Armor and 1 Ragnarok (the best sword in the game besides Excalibur II); Outer Island 2: 11 Sapphires, 1 Circlet, 1 Pumice Piece and 1 Hilda Garde 3 Card; Fairy Island: 33 Potions, 15 Annoyntments, 1 Holy Miter and 1 Dark Matter Card; Forgotten Island: 1 Ribbon, 1 Rebirth Ring, 13 Amethysts and 1 Ark Card; Then I make my way to Chocobo's Paradise to meet the Fat Chocobo, the chocobos will give you clues about treasures hidden in mountain cracks and ocean bubbles but if you followed my walkthrough you already have them all. There is only one last treasure chest in the world map left to obtain but we have to wait until disk four to obtain it. I then make my way to Daguerreo to obtain the Rank S medal from Gilgamesh, which means that I have the highest rank possible in the game. Finally I visit Vile Island to encounter the last friendly monster, the Yan, if you give him a Diamond he will give you 50 AP, a Rosetta Ring and a Elixir Card. You will also be able to hit Ozma with physical attacks from now on=) If you encounter Yans quickly cast night on them and run way, there's no point risking a fight with them at this point.
